The Owl and the Nightingale is my take on a site specific dance performance. Based on the poem of the same name, my project is designed with the disused debating chamber of the New Parliament House, Edinburgh, in mind. As such, each of my designs draw inspiration from 70s style politicians, highlighting the debate-style narrative of the poem as well as outlining the aggressive nature of parliamentary debates seen within our governments today.
